Windspirit Farm Lesson Program
Windspirit Farm's lesson program started late in the fall of 2011 with a few casual students on the weekends. In January 2012, the commitment was made to hire a second Instructor for the weekdays based on the level of interest in the community. By June 2012, the program had more than doubled in size and consisted of a Show Team, Rider Level Program and had hosted its first Fun Show for barn riders and clients. Now in 2016, Windspirit Farm has become known as a reputable local stable with an outstanding program committed to the highest standards of safety, horsemanship and learning. The idea that riding and lessons need to be about more than just time in the saddle is a founding concept at Windspirit. Students develop a passion for horses and riding which will carry them through the rest of their lives and an educated and comprehensive understanding of the work, time commitments and stable management that goes into the partnership between horses and humans.
